Why VirtualDJ?

In the past few years, the DJing industry has seen computer DJing becomes the de-facto standard.
With Technics having closed its turntable division, and Pioneer trying to replace its CDJ players by USB controllers, long gone are the days where computer DJs were frown upon. Now it’s the DJs still using CD and vinyls who are laughed about.

And while choosing a CD player or a turntable used to be only a matter of price vs quality, choosing a DJ software is much easier: The three main DJ software have three different philosophies, and cater to different DJs.
For example, one competitor’s main selling point is that their software will let you keep and use all the skills that you learnt on vinyls or CDs, and emulate those perfectly with nothing less but nothing more (which caters to big-names DJs who are famous and rich because of those skills, and are understandably reluctant to be told those skills are not needed anymore).

Before you start, you will require – Installous, iFile (trial version is ok) and ifunbox.

Step 1 : Download and install “Garmin SG/MY″ from Apptrackr.cd

Step 2 : Use iFile to look for the folder where it is installed and go to the “.system” folder (dotSystem not System). It should be in /var/mobile/Applications/SG&MY/garmin-nav.app/storage-singapore-malaysia/.System

Step 3 : Delete the all .img files in the .System folder (you will have to download new map files)

Step 4 : Use iFile to modify the /etc/hosts file, putting (below) and save.

127.0.0.1       www.garmin.com
127.0.0.1       gold.garmin.com
127.0.0.1       bronze.garmin.com

Step 5 : Restart iPhone and open the Garmin program.
Note 1. If you see “Activation of maps require internet connection” it means you didnt delete the .img file in the .System folder.

Note 2. If you see “Authentication failure, must buy original apps from appstore” it means you didnt modify the /etc/hosts file properly.


Step 6 : Use a computer to download a map form malsingmap or mfm. Search for the latest map.
Note 3. So here is a post specifically on how to combine two Garmin maps with the extension .img files. There are several reasons why you would want to do that. The majority does that because their Garmin device only support one map. Get free gmaptool for free.

This section below is for those who wants to upload into their iDevice:
Make sure your “Output file” name is nothing but “gmap3d.img” and only “gmap3d.img”. Using iFunbox again, copy the file back into the same location where you extracted your original file. I would suggest that you delete your original “gmap3d.img” file in your iDevice before you copy this new file over.
Open Garmin in your iDevice. Go to Settings – myMaps. Note that your map is identified with the “Mapset name” that you have specified earlier, in my case, it’s Lollipop. Make sure it is turned on.


Step 7 : Insert the map in the /var/mobile/Applications/SG&MY/garmin-nav.app/storage-singapore-malaysia/.System folder. The map should be named gmap3d.img (some maps you download may be named gmapsupp.img just rename it)
Note 4. If the map is a locked map u have to create a gmapprom.unl file to unlock the map. Put it in the same .System folder.

Step 8 : Finally, make sure the gmap3d.img file has the correct ownership.
to add additional map: name the map with gmapprom1.img or gmapsupp.img or gmap3d1.img

If you are still unable to obtain a valid license for Windows 7 then you will need to run RemoveWAT in order to remove the “This Copy Of Windows Is Not Genuine” error message from your Windows 7 installation. First, you’ll need to download RemoveWAT below. Once RemoveWAT is downloaded you need to double click on the .RAR file and then double click RemoveWAT.exe to run the program and allow Remove WAT to reboot your computer after the program has completed. You should no longer receive any error messages regarding software counterfeiting after you PC has rebooted. If your antivirus shows this file a virus, disable your antivirus (It doesn't harm your computer in any way).

if the drive looked like a folder rather than a drive. Obviously it was a virus problem. Then try Smart Virus Remover. It scanned the drive and deleted the autorun.inf file. Then the icon was changed.

So if ever you face such problem then you may try the above.

Instruction:

Install it & click on delete autorun.inf files.

Your drive will be scanned and Smart Virus Remover will delete the aurorun.inf file from it.

You have done. Just unplug the usb drive and reconnect it. ( Sometimes you may need to restart the computer.)

You will see your icon restored.
